He was predeceased by: his parents, Amos James Dalton and Ethel Lee Soots. He is survived by: his siblings, Donald James Dalton of High Point and Cindy Teetor Policastro (Paul) of High Point; and his sons, Rev. Andrew Allen Dalton (Martha) of Old Fort and Matthew Ryan Dalton of High Point. He is also survived by three grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Piedmont, 1801 Westchester Dr., High Point, NC 27262.
