He was predeceased by: his parents, Emery Ivan Sumner and Amelia Hagemeister. He is survived by: his wife Karen Townsend Sumner; his children, Lesa Colleran (Tom), Alan Sumner (El) and James Sumner (Tracy); his grandchildren, Megan, Collin Sumner (Savannha), Daniel Colleran, Caitlyn Colleran, Charis Sumner, Timothy Sumner, Amelia Sumner, Garren Sumner, Ava Sumner, Alex and Kendall Reece; and his great grandchildren, Adrian, Kayleigh, Mason and Glenn.
