He was predeceased by: his father Ted Dotson; his grandparents, Harrison, Sadie Dotson, Lundy and Lillian Smith Fuller; and his great-grandparents, Richard and Daisy Smith.
He is survived by: his mother Linda Carol Fuller Dotson of High Point; his wife Cathy Lynn McCoy Dotson; his stepfather Joe Muse of High Point; and his siblings, Jeffrey Dotson (Kim) of Kentucky and Deidra "Dee" Kring (Tony) of Florida.
