It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Earl Murphy (High Point, North Carolina), born in Spindale, North Carolina, who passed away on September 25, 2019, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Karla Dunlap Murphy; his parents, Alfred Murphy and Alberta Murphy; his sister Sandra Murphy Jennings; and his brothers-in-law, Moody Bridges and Rev. John Jennings.
He is survived by: his children, Kathy (Adrian Alma) of Greensboro, Keith (Avis Murphy), Japeth and Levi of High Point; and his siblings, Melba Murphy Bridges of Rutherfordton and Sam (Francine Murphy) of Greenville, SC. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Hospice of the Piedmont.
