Sawyers of High Point, NC; his children, Shannon L. Slade (Loureva) of Woodland Hills, CA, Brandi M. Sawyers of San Jose, CA and T. Sharie Sawyers of Charlotte, NC; his sister Gertha S. Balem (Roosevelt) of High Point, NC; his uncle James Strickland of Detroit, MI; his aunts, Rebecca of Washington, Jefferlene Catchings of High Point, NC, Keevy Anderson of El Paso, TX and Josephine Strickland of Mt. Airy, NC; and also Pastor John Mason. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
