He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Vauter Mae James Wilson of Mocksville and Foy Martin Wilson; his wife Laura Ann Bell Wilson; his daughters, Tammy Brooks (Johnny) of High Point and Sherri Guinn (Ronnie) of Archdale; his sisters, Gloria Anderson (David) of Mocksville and Vauter Mae Proctor (Lee) of Albemarle; his grandchildren, Stephanie Bradshaw, Drew Linthicum, Sean Linthicum, Rodney Guinn and April Guinn; his brother Ernest Wilson; and his parent-in-law J. T. Bell. He was also cherished by eleven great-grandchildren.
