He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl William Osborne, Sr. and Martha Stanley Osborne; and his wife Ellen Laverne Osborne. He is survived by: his daughter Debby Knott of Winston-Salem; his sisters, Jean Osborne of Winston-Salem and Shirley Butts of Wilkesboro; his grandson Zack Knott; his great grandchild J. B. Knott; and also Jean Osborne.
