She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Stewart and Fannie Belle Mullins Turner of West Virginia; and her siblings, Barbara Lusk, Conroy Turner and Jackie Turner.
She is survived by: her husband Shane Hailey; her daughter Christy Gibbs (Glenn) of Buford, Georgia; her grandchildren, Tesla Ford of Atlanta and Tennyson Gibbs; and her siblings, Virginia Warden (Teddy) of Bluefield, Mary Booher (Dennie) of St. Paul, Virginia, Elmer Turner, Jr. (Regina) of St. Paul, Earl Turner (Priscilla) of Trinity, Jerle Turner (Debbie) of Thomasville, Robert Turner of Randleman, Freddie Turner of Bluefield and Ronnie Neece (Susie) of Abingdon, Virginia. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
