He was predeceased by: his parents, Freeman Dawkins and Hattie Nance Dawkins. He is survived by: his children, Christine Dawkins, Demetrius Lynne Dawkins, Craig Alexander Dawkins and Sandy Gerard Dawkins; and his siblings, Benjamin Dawkins (Ethel) and Hattie Hall. He is also survived by six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
