We are sad to announce that on February 22, 2020, at the age of 78, Elijah James Fitzpatrick (High Point, North Carolina), born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his stepdaughters, Darlene Diggs and Catherine Smith. He is survived by: his wife Grace Fitzpatrick; and his stepchildren, James Diggs, Jr. (Debra), Luke Diggs, III, Joe Louis Diggs and Mae Ellerbe (Lloyd). He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren; nine great-great grandchildren.
