She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Dixon and Avis Stewart Dixon. She is survived by: her husband Harry Saunders; her son Chuck Saunders (Christy) of Trinity; her stepchildren, Thorne Saunders (Gina) of Trinity and Terri Saunders Barbee of Wilmington; her sister Janie Mitchell of High Point; and her grandchildren, Devin Saunders, Chase Saunders, Faith Parker, Lance Saunders, Brooks Saunders, Dustin Barbee and Travis Barbee. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials in memory of Elizabeth should be made to the Alzheimer's Association through http://www.alz.org.
