We are sad to announce that on March 26, 2020, at the age of 87, Emily Bland (High Point, North Carolina), born in Davidson, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hollis Russell and Lura Russell. She is survived by: her husband Joseph Furman Bland (Joe) of Thomasville, NC.; her sister Amanda Deadwyler of Salisbury, NC; her children, Susan Bland, Amy Carroll (Jim) of Benbrook, TX and Joseph (Suzanne); her grandchildren, Megan Carroll, Rob Carroll (Kayla) of Midland, TX, Sean Carroll of Benbrook, TX and Virginia Bland of Asheville, NC; and her great grandchild Kam of Midland, TX.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the Helping Hand Fund at First United Methodist Church.
