She was predeceased by: her parents, James Ruffin and Artha McManus Hargett; her daughter Amelia Esteras; her husband Bert E. Lyons; and her brother Hurley Hargett (Carol).
She is survived by: her daughter Alice Rothrock (Tom); her son-in-law Bill Esteras; her grandchildren, Brian Long of High Point, Leeland Rothrock of Virginia Beach and Whitney Wellborn of Fayetteville, N. C.; her great grandchildren, Austin Long, Allie, Mia, Daniel Wellborn, Kai and Rori Rothrock; and her nieces, Patricia Phillips, Dorane Benton and Dawn Bennett.
