She was predeceased by: her parents, James Gill and Marie Burris Gill; and her siblings, Nathaniel Burris, Robert McClure and Dora Lee Thompson.
She is survived by: her children, Veronica "Michelle" Gladney (Eddie), Rodney Ingram of Charlotte, NC and Scottie Ingram (Patrice) of New York; and her siblings, Ruby Johnson, Helen Coltrane of High Point and James Walker Burris of High Point. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
