He was predeceased by: his parents, Roby Calvin Kirby and Laura Belle Queen Kirby. He is survived by: his siblings, Floyd Kirby, Ernest Kirby and Daisy King; his daughter Martha Carole Kirby; his wife Martha Loftin Kirby; his children, Bradley Kirby (Phyllis George) of Archdale and Laura Kirby Stryker of High Point; his grandchildren, Erica Stryker (Tim Koontz), Alex Stryker, Collis Cornett (Natasha), Kyle Cornett and Harlie Cornett; his brother Pete Kirby (Jo) of Conover; and his sister-in-law Joyce Kirby. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
