She is survived by: her spouse Gene D. Abbott, Sr.; her children, Jerree Walser (Keith) of Lexington, Angie Hunt (Kenny Hall) of Wallburg, Doug Abbott (Allison) of Winston-Salem, Retha Linville of High Point and Vicki VanLeuvan (Roy) of Wallburg; and her brother Jerry Hendrix (Betty Kiser) of High Point. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
