She was predeceased by: her parents, Loyston F. Samuels and Allie Robbins Samuels; her adoptive parents, Doby Grubb and Ivey Grubb; and her sister Vickie Hogue.
She is survived by: her husband Larry Morgan; her children, Brian Morgan (Angela) of Archdale and Robin Astor; her granddaughter Kelli; her brothers, Larry Samuels of Jamestown and Tommy Samuels (Anne) of Greensboro; and her brother-in-law Henry Hogue of Archdale.
