With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frank Dixon of High Point, North Carolina, who passed away on October 17, 2021 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Brown and Almatine Dixon Jenkins; his wife Betty Jean Dixon; and his daughters, Myra Wilkes and Valerie Bridges.
He is survived by: his children, Frank Dixon, Jr. (Lisa), James Foster Dixon, Marvin Bridges, Richard Dixon, Telly Bridges (Meikala), Lorie Moore, Cathy Hubbard, Debbie Williams and Elaine Horton (Mark); his siblings, Christine Jackson, Alice Brown, Queen Esther Dixon, Barbara Ann Whitworth, David Dixon, James Darnell Dixon, William Brown, Richard Brown (Rose), Henry Malachi (Evelyn), Howard Brown, Katie Pratt, Gertrude Covington, Rosie McDonald, Alice Bridges, Christine Bruce, Sally Jenkins and Ernestine Kings; and his aunt Jennie Saunders. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces and nephews who revered him as a father.
