It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gayle Thompson of High Point, North Carolina, born in Stanley, North Carolina, who passed away on September 24, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis Tucker and Addie Almond Tucker; and her husband Tommy Thompson. She is survived by: her sons, Chris Thompson (Jennifer) and Jeff Thompson (Tiffany); her grandchildren, Raylin, Carson, Kailey, Kaia and Chloe; and her sister Lovene Scott. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
With masks and social distancing observed, a funeral service will be held at 4:00 p. m. Sunday, September 26, 2021 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with Layperson Tim Thompson officiating.
