With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerald Lynn Monk of High Point, North Carolina, born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on November 25, 2020 at the age of 70. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his former wife Janet Lucas; his wife Belinda Smith; his daughter Michelle (Jessie); his grandchildren, Briana and Omavi Tshiona; his brother Commodore Harvey Monk Jr. (Barbara); his stepson Antonio Posey; and his uncle Cecil Butler (Ruby). He was also cherished by other cousins, and other family members, and friends.
