Gladys Irene Lineberry Jennings Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gladys Irene Lineberry Jennings of High Point, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 10, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Garnett Lineberry and Dora Jane Lineberry Ring; her husband JB Jennings; her siblings, Jim Lineberry and Wilma Funk; and her son-in-law Charles Akers (Bud).
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Akers of Winston-Salem, Jan Fowler (Jerry) of Lexington and Kimberly Jennings of Spruce Pine; her grandchildren, Sherry Cornett, Jeanette Hildebrand, Trevor Peters, Derick Jennings and Julia Peters; and her brother Richard Lineberry (Mary Lee) of Elkin. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cumby Family Funeral Service - High Point (1015 Eastchester Dr, High Point, NC 27262). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at the Floral Garden Park Cemetery (1730 W English Rd, High Point, NC 27262).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Piedmont, 1801 Westchester Drive, High Point, NC 27262.
