He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, B. A. Lockhart and Zula Hamm Lockhart; his spouse Jackie Jarvis; his children, Roy "Pete" Lockhart Jr. (Carol) of Lexington and Teri Lockhart of Sylva; his sisters, Joretta Lewis of High Point and Coleen Dailey of High Point; his grandchildren, Roy "Tripp" Lockhart III (Stephanie) and Robbie Lockhart; and his great grandchildren, Max and Whit Lockhart.
