With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gurley Everhart in High Point, North Carolina, born in Davidson, North Carolina, who passed away on December 15, 2020 at the age of 66. He was predeceased by: his parents, Austin Everhart and Dorothy Holden Everhart; and his sister Amy Mae Everhart. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Hilliard Everhart; his children, Gurley James Everhart, Ernest Franklin Everhart and Carolyn Ashley (Fredrick); his siblings, Gary Everhart (Cleny), Ronnie Everhart (Hazel), Glenda Childress (Harold) and Gwendolyn "Babe" Sechrest (Charles); and his grandchildren, Dylan Everhart, Madison Everhart, Winston Everhart, Kaileen Everhart, Jacob Ashley and Autumn Ashley. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
