He is survived by: his wife Joanne Bean Spencer; his children, David Spencer (Gina) of Thomasville, Derek Spencer (Jessica) of High Point and Dawn Spencer Kearns (Garry) of High Point; his grandchildren, Maghan Spencer, Troy Spencer, Haley Kearns Turman (Daniel), Kaitlyn Kearns (Victor), Spencer Kearns, Chase Spencer and Addison Spencer; and his great grandchild Hazel Ann Turman.
