He is survived by: his son Ronald "Ron" Ashwell of Everette, Washington; his granddaughter Trista Ashwell of Everette, Washington; his great grandchild Gene Parkes; his stepgrandson Troy McEachern; and his niece Cindy Fletcher (Larry Idol) of Trinity.
