It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harry Tanner of High Point, North Carolina, born in Kankakee, Illinois, who passed away on June 27, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry J. Tanner and Lucille Marion Tanner; and his siblings, Elmer Tanner, Bernice Brown and Rita Drazy.

He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Africano; his children, Mark Tanner (Jo) of High Point, Victoria Owen (Kevin) of High Point and Kevin Tanner of High Point; and his grandchildren, Tanner Owen of New York City, NY and Anna Marie Owen of Atlanta, GA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
