She was predeceased by: her parents, Dan Patterson and Emma Jane Patterson; her husband Reverend Willie Lee Rice; and her daughters, Delores Rice Johnson and Diane Rice Wiggins.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Denika Rice, Kataba Wiggins, Katicia Wiggins Hudson (Travis) and James Wiggins (Michelle); and her great grandchildren, Kenny Johnson, Rasheed Bennett, Katja Smith and Jamaica Rice. She is also survived by great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
