It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Henrietta Kearse (High Point, North Carolina), born in Georgetown, South Carolina, who passed away on August 21, 2019, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene L. Curtain, Sr. and Leloa J. Curtain; her husband James Albert Kearse, Sr.; and her brothers, Benjamin Curtain, Harold Curtain and Eugene Lawson Curtain.
She is survived by: her son James Albert Kearse (Cheryl) of Oceanside, CA; her siblings, Johnny Curtain of Winston Salem, NC, Alan Curtain of High Point, NC, Sandra Roberts (Samuel) and Barbara J. McNeil (Frank); her grandchildren, Jerushia Sullivan-Bass, Jaelin Kearse and Chyrelle Deloath; and her close friends, Willie Mae Barrier, Shirley Erath and Gene Wasmer. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
