He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Fountain Edwards and Georgia Lewis Edwards; and his brothers, Clayton Edwards and Earl Edwards. He is survived by: his wife June Bivens Edwards; his daughters, Carole Gibson (Ron) of Laurel Hill and Marcia McDowell (Mike) of High Point; his grandchildren, Jennifer LaRocca (Jamie), Heather Kilcoin (Michael), Laura Jones (Walt), Ryan McDowell (Carrington) and Katie Stone (Eric); and his great grandchildren, Gracie, Isabella, Annie, Asher, Bennett, Perri, Charlotte, Eli, Baxley, Carter, Gus and Paisley.
