He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Huggins and Tessie Bullard Huggins; his wife Carolyn Ann McCormick Huggins; his nephew James Huggins; and his niece Alyssa Huggins.

He is survived by: his nephew David Huggins (Beth); his great-nephew Branson Huggins; and his great-niece Fayanne Johnston of Kernersville.
