It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herbert Manley Golden (High Point, North Carolina), who passed away on September 8, 2019, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William L. "Pop" and Grace Golden; and his brothers, Bob, Clyde and Fred Golden.
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia O. Golden; his daughters, Holly Smith (Neal) and Sami Hanks (Kevin); his grandchildren, Kristin Meyerhoeffer (Matthew), Smith (Audrey Garrett), Abbi Goerk (Jonathan), Mitch Hanks and Ellie Hanks; his great grandchildren, Sophie and Levi Meyerhoeffer; and his brother Charles Berry Golden.
