She was predeceased by: her parents, William Henry and Connie Robertson Kennedy; her husband Darrell Lee Cox; and her brothers, Arnold and Raymond Kennedy.
She is survived by: her children, Greg Cox (Pat) of Archdale and Karen Cox of High Point; her grandchildren, Jeremy Lee Cox (Jessica) and Stefanie Cox Irwin (Jason); her great grandchildren, Kingston Lee Cox, Zen Orion Cox, Scarlett Irwin and Caroline Irwin; and her brother J. W. Kennedy. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
