With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hoy Landon Myers Sr. of High Point, North Carolina, born in Altavista, Virginia, who passed away on August 5, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Daniel and Grace Jenks Myers; his children-in-law, Carol Myers and Nelson Winstead; and his siblings, Janie Myers, Marjorie Saunders, Rudolph "Rudy" Myers, Marvin Myers, Orville Myers and Cary Myers.
He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Kirkpatrick Myers; his children, Hoy L. Myers, Jr. (Linda) of Cheyenne, Beth Myers of High Point, Tim Myers of Cary and Jill Winstead of Nashville; his granddaughter Kristie Wilson; and his great grandchild Bowen Wilson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
