It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hoyt Milton Hackney Jr. of High Point, North Carolina, born in Franklinton, North Carolina, who passed away on November 4, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hoyt Hackney and Alma Hackney (Walden); and his siblings, Eugene Hackney and Carolyn Hackney Bunting. He is survived by: his wife Dianne Martin Hackney; his children, Hoyt Hackney III (Alison), Katie Stone (Fletcher) and Mary Carolyn Hackney; and his grandchildren, Fletcher IV, Taylor Stone, Elizabeth and John Hackney.
