She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Ira Haywood and Gertha Kearns. She is survived by: her daughters, Valora Dark (Keith) of High Point, NC, Renee McLean (John) of Fayetteville, NC and Greta Martin of Kernersville, NC; her sisters, Dr. Bobbie Reddick of Durham, NC and Carolyn Littlejohn of Charlotte, NC; her grandchildren, Jessica, Justin, Cicely, Alliyah, Brandon, Chelsea, Kelsea, Delores, Whitney and Joshua; her niece Latoya; and her nephews, Michael and Donald Jr.. She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren.
