He is survived by: his wife Merriam Yancey; his daughter Dawanna Denise Caldwell; his siblings, Alphonso Martin, Bobby McCutcheon of High Point, NC and Rhonda Crosby of Atlanta, GA; his grandchildren, Candace Caldwell of High Point, NC and Jason Caldwell; his great grandchildren, Aalyria "Lyrie" Green and Da'Mauri "Mauri" Autery; his sister-in-law Ruth Caldwell of High Point, NC; his niece Molliestine Caldwell; and his extended family, Alphonso Martin (MaeFrances) and James Martin (Glenda) of High Point, NC. He is also survived by his family, especially his grandchildren; but his great-grandchildren.
