He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert L. Wall and Theo Martin Wall; his former wife Bethel Hill Wall; his siblings, Mary Simpson, Jean Haney and Robert Wall; and his stepgrandson Caleb Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Sink Wall; his children, Ric Wall (Donna) of Archdale, Denise Wall (Bill McNeer) of Thomasville, Lorri Wall (Bruce Ciancio) of Delaware and Andy Wall (Lisa) of Marietta, GA; his stepdaughter Lisa Smith (Scott) of Carolina Shores; his brothers, David Wall (Debby) of Elon College and John Wall of Greensboro; his sister-in-law Mary Farlow (Don) of Trinity; his grandchildren, Lorri Rivas (Pablo), Joi Yates (Josh), Joey Yow (Heather), Victoria Wall and Alexandria Wall; and his stepgranddaughter Hannah Smith.
