He was predeceased by: his parents, Ottis Carrell and Roxie Baxter Carrell; his wife Ruth McGaha Carrell; and his siblings, Frank and Evelyn.
He is survived by: his children, James Carrell (Belinda), Ann Jenkins (John) and Lee Carrell (Shelly); his grandchildren, Jay, Jessica, Jennifer, Michelle, Aaron and Jax; and his great grandchildren, Lilly, Amelia, Jett and Presley.
