With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Chernault of High Point, North Carolina, who passed away on January 16, 2021 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Coe Chernault and Ina Parks Chernault. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Jones Chernault; his children, Bobby Chernault (Tiffany) of Johns Creek, G. A. and Susan C. Steen (Andy) of High Point; and his grandchildren, Joshua Steen, Sarah Steen, Nate Chernault and Delaney Chernault.

In lieu of flowers donations may be directed to the Green Street Baptist Church Building Fund, or High Point Christian Academy, 303 North Rotary Drive, High Point, NC 27262.
