With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Ewings Jr. (High Point, North Carolina), who passed away on October 8, 2019 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Ewings, Sr. and Rosa D. Ewings; and his siblings, Elmira LeGrande, Fanny Storr and Manley LeGrande.

He is survived by: his children, Roland Froneberger (Margaret), Michael Ewings, Raynetta Jackson (Calvin), Florinda Smith (David) and Adrianne Hill; and also Denise Dent. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, longtime friend.
