It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Rudolph Strickland (High Point, North Carolina), who passed away on February 7, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harris Strickland and Edith Hunt Strickland; his son James "Junior" Rudolph Strickland, Jr.; his brothers, Allen Strickland, Larry Strickland and Gerald "Cowboy" Strickland; his son-in-law Randy Lyles; and his sister-in-law Wanda Strickland.
He is survived by: his children, Dianne Strickland Lyles and Russell Strickland (Karen); his grandchildren, Angela Strickland, Mason Lyles, Jordan Lyles, Adam Lanier, Amber Strickland and Tayler Lyles; his siblings, Harris "Buddy" Strickland, Jr. (Alice), Braxton Strickland (Carolyn), Ricky Strickland and Hal Strickland (Rose); his sister-in-law Bonnie Strickland; and his nieces and nephews, Deana, Jason, Desiree, Michelle, Richard, Christopher and Renee.
