She is survived by: her husband James Chavis; her daughter Venus Nickerson (Miles) of Riverdale, GA; her grandchildren, Amanda Nickerson, Miles Nickerson of Riverdale, GA, Alexandria Nickerson of Savannah, GA and Arthur Rocker of Orlando, FL; her siblings, George Wallace of High Point, NC, Catherine Strong (Earl) of Hamlet, NC, Louise Martin of High Point, NC and Peggy Wallace of High Point, NC; and her siblings-in-law, Alberta Wallace of High Point, NC, Ross Chavis (Truley) of Greensboro, NC and Lockwood Chavis (Mary) of Franklin, NC. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
