He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Ray Weavil and Helen Idol Weavil; and his sister Phyllis Weavil Bottoms. He is survived by: his wife Dorcas Foster Weavil; his son Scottie Ray Weavil; his granddaughter Rhianna Blayne Weavil; his siblings-in-law, Wayne Bottoms and Karen Foster; his nephews, John Bottoms (Melinda) and Jeff Bottoms (Tina); his great-nephews, Cody, Justin, Garrett and Dalton Bottoms; and his close friend Susie Parnell Davis (John).
