He was predeceased by: his parents, William Marvin and Flora Bell Shaw Jones; his son Gary Glenn Jones; and his siblings, Virginia Elmore, Billy Gray Jones, Bobby Jones, Virgil Jones, Tommy Jones and Elwood Henderson.
He is survived by: his wife Annamaria Ferree Jones; his children, Bobby Jones, David Jones (Carol), Joshua Williams (Ashlie), Hannah Morgan and Carrie Jones (Daniel); his grandson Casey Jones (Kendra); and his sister Janie Hawker (Joe). He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
