He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerrit Beenen and Johanna Beenen; and his wife Ava Jackson Beenen. He is survived by: his children, Pamela Beenen, Patricia Kyle (Perry), Jennifer Enoch (Kenneth) and John Beenen, Jr. (Mandy); his grandchildren, Madison, Taylor, James, Jackson, Jasmine, Walker, Gerrit, Hannah, Morgan, Benjamin and Matthew; and his siblings, Egbert Beenen (Deeny), Joanne VanderVelde (Douglas), Swanee Visser (Raymond), Jeri Kett (Jim) and Tina Persenaire (Dennis). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
