He was predeceased by: his parents, Hershel Cofer, Sr. and Beatrice Buchanan (Babb); and his half-brother Hershel Cofer, Jr.. He is survived by: his aunt Joyce A. Coomer of Winfield, TN; his niece Tiffany Lewis (Erik); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Z'Kiyah of Winfield, TN, Kabryn of Winfield, TN and Atalia of Winfield, TN; his close friend Clarence Redmond; and also, Morris and White Sox.
