It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Roland (High Point, North Carolina), born in West Jefferson, North Carolina, who passed away on November 12, 2019, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Iva Ruth Roland; his children, Cathy Roland Barber (Ken) and Greg Roland (Sherry); his grandchildren, Brandon Barber (Chelsea) and Zoe Roland (Brandon); his great grandchild Ellamae Lynn Barber; and his brother Jack Roland (Janice). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
