With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Hembree Jr. (High Point, North Carolina), born in Hartwell, Georgia, who passed away on September 6, 2021 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Andrew Hembree, Sr. and Lovie Parker Hembree. He is survived by: his spouse Billie Dean Bailey Hembree; his children, Ricky Hembree (Teresa) and Phyllis Reid (Howard); and his grandchildren, Lance Reid (Amy), Lynn Callaway (Kirt), Derrick Hembree (Crystal), Matthew Hembree (Kaytlynn), Preston Hembree (Kimberly) and Stephanie Hembree. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren with one on the way; and one great-great grandson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to English Road Baptist Church, 1111 W. English Road, High Point, NC 27262.
