He was predeceased by: his parents, George Hoston Morehead and Mattie Pearl Saunders Morehead; his siblings, Viola, Fuller, Henry, Ada, Mitchel, Margaret, Marie, Hattie, Allen, Pearl, Francis, Mammie, Georganna and Virganna; and his daughter-in-law Wanda Morehead.
He is survived by: his son Donnie Morehead; his grandchildren, Joey Morehead (Amber), Terri Sharpe (Kenny) and Jerri Shepard (James); his great grandchildren, Jaize, Elly, Bryce, Lindsay, Sterling and Janae; his niece Shirley Morehead Simmons; and also, Tonya Traynham, Ashlee Butler and Calvin. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
