We are sad to announce that on February 23, 2022, at the age of 90, June Wheatley Safrit of High Point, North Carolina, born in Pulaski, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Paul Wheatley and Beulah Howlett Wheatley; her husband Leon "Pinky" Safrit; and her son Leon Scott Safrit. She is survived by: her children, Suzanne June Safrit of Charleston, SC and Barry Clark Safrit of Greensboro, NC; her grandson Jack Safrit of Greensboro, NC; and her brother Jack Wheatley (Fran) of Scotland Neck, NC. She is also survived by friends and family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church, 1225 Chestnut Street, High Point, NC 27262.
